While there is very little available on preserving personal digital archives, there is much work going on to preserve national archives, librariesd, and scholarly work. These projects bear watching for the personal spinoffs they might produce or provide:

- Data portability
- DSpace
- LOCKSS
- Fedora
- I haven't yet checked how selective the Internet Archive is
- Microsoft's MyLifeBits seems to run better on powerpoint than for real ;-D
